79th Independence Day Celebrated with Grandeur at Royal Universal School, Abdul Muttalib Campus

Message to Keep Youth Away from Drugs; Program Filled with Patriotic Spirit

Malegaon (Press Release) Under the aegis of Khatoon Educational Society, Royal Universal School, along with other educational institutions, organized a grand and colorful celebration on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day at the Abdul Muttalib Campus.

The program began at 8:30 a.m. with the flag hoisting ceremony by PI Pritam Sir of Taluka Police Station. The event formally commenced with the National Anthem, Qur’an recitation, and an oath-taking pledge for a “Nasha Mukt Bharat” (Drug-Free India). The program was beautifully hosted by Professor Shoaib Sir (RMS Institute of Pharmacy) and Dr. Abdul Rahman Bakhshi Sir, while the distinguished guests were warmly welcomed with floral tributes.

Chairman Rizwan Abdul Muttalib Sir, in his address, highlighted the significance of Independence Day and motivated the youth to excel in education. He emphasized that students are the true assets of the nation and said, “The real value of freedom lies in knowledge, research, and service to humanity.”

Addressing the gathering, PI Pritam Sir urged the young generation to stay away from the menace of drugs. He remarked, “Addiction not only destroys an individual’s future but also affects entire families and society. Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders—they must lead purposeful lives.”

Dr. Rashid Akhtar (Principal, Royal College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research) delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, teachers, students, and organizers. He said, “This day is not just about celebration but also about self-reflection, national unity, and remembering the sacrifices made for freedom.”

The program also included patriotic songs, speeches, and action songs presented by students from Royal Universal School, RMS Institute of Pharmacy, Royal College of Physiotherapy, and Al-Ameen Unani Medical College. The performances, delivered in Urdu, English, Hindi, and Marathi, shed light on the history, importance, and contemporary relevance of Independence Day, leaving the audience deeply inspired.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students and faculty of Al-Ameen Unani Medical College & Hospital, Royal College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, RMS Institute of Pharmacy, Royal College of Physiotherapy, and Royal Universal School (CBSE).
